ETI Converting Equipment, led by president Maxime Bayzelon, has announced the launch of a new generation of the Metronome printing press. It is especially designed for unsupported monoweb thin film. With its oversized conception, the Metronome allows for the printing of labels at high speed 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

The Metronome is equipped with:

  • Instant change plate cylinders
  • Instant change anilox
  • Instant rotary die
  • Die cassettes to diecut on all printing stations
  • Auto peel-off to remove the diecutting matrix without stopping the machine
  • Water-based and UV curing system
  • Temperature control system on all stations to avoid a heat build-up in the cylinders
  • “Pellicut” station to avoid die marks on liner and being able to diecut at high speeds down to 12 micron liner thickness
  • Reversible printing stations
  • Pre-registration and auto-registration systems
This press guarantees quality label printing and ensures greater efficiency during production time. Moreover, the Metronome has a modular design and can be transformed subsequently into a Cohesio by adding a silicone and an adhesive station. The press can also evolve according to the needs of its user.
